Softwash Cleaning is a specialised service and should not be carried out by anyone who has not undertaken comprehensive softwash training. In order to become a softwash technician within the organisation, each individual attends a a three day course covering all aspects of softwashing both theory and practical. After this, there is an additional 24hrs online studying which includes, in part, taking care of the environment, environmental law, mixing of chemicals, potential hazards and how to avoid them, cleaning of different surfaces, working at height, health & safety plus much more. There is then a 200 question exam with a pass rate of 85%. This is the 1st of a 3 stage training program run by Softwash Systems UK.
Window cleaning isn’t as easy as it looks!
Our technicians are put on a 6 week training program before they can qualify as a window cleaner. This covers customer service, customer care, health & safety, quality control, time management and booking appointments. After they have completed their training they need to pass an practical assessment.
The training doesn’t end there. We regularly support our technicians with additional opportunities in business development & Management training to encourage a career path of their choice.
Pippa runs the carpet cleaning side of the business and is fully qualified passing her PROCHEM training course with flying colours.
Carpet cleaning assistants are given an initial 8 week training within the company before also being enrolled on the PROCHEM training course. They are then assessed after 6 months before flying solo.
Additional training is given in customer care, customer service, communication skills as well as time management.
