Softwash Cleaning

Your Softwash Cleaning Specialist!

What is Soft Washing?

Soft washing is a cleaning method that uses a low-pressure washing technique, along with a mixture of algaecides, bleach, surfactants, and water, to safely clean exterior surfaces.

Soft washing although relatively new in the UK has been used in the USA for many years. It is an incredible cleaning system which delivers outstanding results without risk of damaging any of the surfaces it cleans. Due to the advanced system used and the formulation used it is not only able to completely remove all harmful bacteria it cleans so effectively that it also leaves all your treated surfaces sanitized. In our current world where we find ourselves so vulnerable to the spread of viruses imagine being able to have the outside of your home soft washed so that it was germ free, expertly cleaned and sanitized and the results also last 6x longer than pressure washing alone.

What makes it different and stand out?

Although soft washing, power washing and pressure washing may all seem similar as to what they do they are very different, and they all use different techniques, equipment, pressure and chemicals.

What makes Soft washing so different is that we use a much lower water pressure, 100% organic, biodegradable, water-based cleaning formulations. When using a pressure washer it moves bacteria around which leaves it there wating to re-grow on adjacent surfaces think of it like washing your hands with just water and no soap,  they may look clean but the germs are still there. Using the soft wash method kills 100% of the living bacteria that cause the streaks, stains, blotches and spotting that you see. Also,  the cleaning effects of a soft washing treatment last up to 6 x longer than those achieved through pressure washing alone.

When should you use the Soft Washing method?

Soft Washing should be used on surfaces that are notoriously hard to get clean using pressure alone. Using high pressure on certain surfaces can damage them so the following is ideal for making use of the Soft Washing technique : Roofs, patios, render cleaning, cleaning brickwork, driveway cleaning and decking and fencing.

Is soft washing environmentally safe?

In a simple word YES!! Firstly, we use limited amounts of water especially compared to other washing systems you can use this is mainly due to the low water pressure used. The formulations we use are 100% organic, water-based and biodegradable cleaning formulations, so soft washing should be the first choice for cleaning your home or business “Eco friendly, Saves Water and delivers outstanding results”.

Why do you use bleach to clean?

Bleach is the most effective natural, organic cleaner on the planet that we have been using for many years. When bleach is combined with our proprietary cleaning formulations, and the surfactants contained the cleaning reaction that occurs on a home or a business’s surfaces (with the enzymatic effects of the air’s oxygen) can be quite remarkable! Bleach, when handled properly, is very safe…in fact, the average household is already using cleaning products that contain bleach daily to clean surfaces, washing clothes and in toothpaste! If you think about places you would expect to be cleaned to the highest effective and  stringent guidelines like hospitals, they also use bleach for sterilisation to achieve such high standards which is why we use it too and its safe.

Plant Wash

Looking After the Plants!

A lot of companies cover the plants, grass and surrounding areas with plastic sheets to ‘protect’ from the chemicals they are using. This can be very harmful to the plants as it can suffocate them with approximately 15 minutes. We ‘feed’ the plants with ‘Plant Feed’ both in the soil and on the plants to ensure the plants stay healthy and are not affected by any long term chemical damage.
